Daffynitions are new definitions of existing words. This used to be played in I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue as Uxbridge English Dictionary.
For example -
Rusticate: to mash up corroded girders with one's teeth.
Chary: like a chair.
Expunge: a deceased sponge.
(Hm. Well. The great thing about Mostly Life is that you have to think of the rest ....)
